Embroidery is a particularly diverse art form. The mastery of many techniques and knowledge about the processing of various materials, as taught in this distance learning seminar, form the basis for your free artistic development. You do not need a chart or an area-fill-by-numbers guide. Inspiration is the only spark! This can be a photo, a painting, a drawing or just your imagination. At the same time, our seminar is a reveling in the colors and structures of the diverse materials that our market offers today. And at the end you can say:

The focus of our Master Needle Artisan seminar is on learning embroidery techniques, using a variety of materials and translating classical techniques into modern design. Our documentation is built on detailed step-by-step instructions and also provides a brief introduction to the history of various embroidery techniques and advanced theoretical knowledge. The projects combine and implement the techniques learned with modern design options.

The seminar is suitable for: beginners, returnees, sunday stitchers, stitch manicas and all those who can not keep their hands off the needle and thread and enjoy it every day. So forAnyone who likes to work with needle and thread, who is fascinated by the whole range of hand embroidery as much as we are and who are or want to become part of the big world wide family of happy stitchers. You do not need more prerequisites.

Use it to create practice pieces, as a preparation for developing your own courses, to create a sample book, as preparation for study or the practical part of the journeyman's examination for the examination as a Designing Crafts WoMan/subject embroidery or just have fun!

Preference is given to a regular weekly feedback, on request you will receive a report template. You can also use these as activity proof for the registration for the external examination at the Chamber of Crafts!

The fee can be paid in total (5% discount), as a rate per year (3% discount each), or as a monthly installment.

Registration: takes place online, is binding

Registration fee: non-refundable

Seminar fee: after sending out documentation including supplies, reimbursement of the seminar fee is no longer possible.

Written documentation: Must not be copied, digitized or otherwise distributed to third parties or sold / rented in the original. May only be used after previous written agreement for own course purposes.

Support: Tutor can be contacted at any time by email, digital images can be submitted by email. The free childcare time ends 5 years after the agreed beginning of the seminar.

Exploitation rights: By participating in this seminar, participants agree to the use and publication of submitted images and images of submitted projects. The same applies to photos taken at local events for public coverage of the seminar organizer or for self-promotion by the organizer. This includes publishing on websites and on social media through us and our distributors.

Certificates can be issued under the following conditions:

  • Confirmation of participation: All projects have been completed, evidence of completion is available in pictorial form
  • Assessment: Feedback at regular intervals, all projects have been completed, the projects are available to ISTA in the original
  • Certificate: All projects were assessed, projects were successfully completed (minimum score) and completed within the given timeframe. Deviations from the time frame only by prior agreement
